Clemmons, NC - The 2006 SWFLL All-Stars teams completed a successful season in NC District 2 Tournament play on Monday by winning two District 2 Championships and three runner-up finishes.
The Minor 9/10 year old Boys SW Blue All-Stars won SWFLL's first 9/10 year old District 2 Championship and will play on Wednesday, July 19th at 6:00pm in the NC State Tournament at North Durham Little League. The Minor 9/10 year old Boys SW Red All-Stars completed a successful run in the 9/10 year old tournament with a record of 4-2 and advancing to the Final 8.
The 10/11 year old Boys SW All-Stars won SWFLL's first 10/11 year old District 2 Championship and will play on Saturday, July 22nd at 4:00pm in the NC State Tournament at Chase Little League.
The Major Boys 11/12 Little League SW All-Stars won 7 straight games after an opening round defeat before losing a tough game to East Rowan 3-0 in the Championship game. The Major Boys 11/12 Little League SW All-Stars completed tournament by finishing runner-up in the NC District 2 Tournament.
The Junior Boys SW All-Stars completed a successful run in NC District 2 Tournament play by finishing 3rd after suffering a tough loss to King Little League.
The Senior Boys SW All-Stars advanced to the championship game of the NC District 2 Tournament before losing to Kernersville Little League. The Senior Boys SW All-Stars completed tournament by finishing runner-up in the NC District 2 Tournament.
The Minor & Major Girls Softball SW All-Stars completed NC District 2 Tournament play.
The Senior Girls Softball SW All-Stars completed NC District 2 Tournament play finishing runner-up in the NC District 2 Tournament.
